The Pediatric-Pak converts a HeartSine Samaritan PAD AED for use on children between 1 and 8 years of age: with this cartridge installed, the device delivers the guidelines-recommended lower energy level for pediatric patients. Like the adult Pad-Pak, it packages the battery and electrodes as one single-use cartridge with one expiration date.
