The JL Industries Academy 1027F10 is a semi-recessed aluminum fire extinguisher cabinet for a 10 lb extinguisher, made in the USA. The clear satin anodized aluminum door and trim resist corrosion and give a brighter architectural finish than painted steel. The tub recesses into the wall while the 3 in rolled trim projects from the wall face, staying within the ADA 4 in projection limit. The full-view clear acrylic door has a continuous hinge that opens 180 degrees and a pull handle with roller catch.

Extinguisher compatibility
Sized for 2.5 to 10 lb portable extinguishers. Fit is set by the extinguisher's cylinder diameter against this cabinet's 6 in interior (tub) depth, not by weight — a standard 10 lb dry-chemical unit fits, while a wide-body "short" 10 lb or a 20 lb unit is too deep and needs a larger cabinet.
