Halotron I is a clean agent that leaves no residue and conducts no electricity, developed as a replacement for Halon 1211. Buckeye makes this 5 lb stored-pressure unit with a fixed nozzle for server rooms, electrical rooms, and equipment areas. Rated 5-B:C and manufactured in accordance with ANSI/UL 2129 and ANSI/UL 711.
Because Halotron discharges as a rapidly evaporating liquid and leaves nothing behind, it is the right choice anywhere ABC dry chemical would do collateral damage: server cabinets, telecom gear, lab instruments, and electronics. Dry chemical extinguishes the fire but leaves corrosive residue that keeps damaging boards and drives afterward.

Spec lines that call for 1-A or 2-A coverage need the 11 lb or 15.5 lb sizes in the Halotron collection.
