The V40W71136 is a weatherized rim exit device designed for exterior doors and gates exposed to weather conditions. This Detex Grade 1 panic hardware installs on single and double doors where building codes require panic activation for occupant egress. The device solves the compliance challenge of maintaining secure perimeter access while meeting life-safety requirements for unrestricted egress from inside the building.
