The 216DV42 door shoe seals the gap under 1¾" thick doors to prevent air leakage and water infiltration. This U-shaped aluminum shoe mounts to the door bottom and solves weatherization problems in commercial buildings. Pemko designed this shoe with elongated adjustment slots and a rain drip edge to deflect water away from the door.
The vinyl insert compresses against the floor to create an effective seal while maintaining door appearance. The dark bronze anodized aluminum finish resists corrosion in exterior applications. This door shoe works with fire-rated door assemblies that require UL 10C testing compliance.
