The PK33 adhesive perimeter gasket is a 3/8" wide PemkoPrene strip that mounts to the frame stop along the head and both jambs. It seals the gap between door and frame to stop air leakage, block smoke, and cut drafts on exterior openings. Pemko builds it at their Ventura, California plant, and the narrow profile is made for tighter frames where a bulkier seal would bind the door.
Closing force stays low, which matters on rated openings where the door still has to latch on its own. If you are checking swing force against the ADA 5 lbs limit, our writeup on ANSI/BHMA A156.4 door closers covers how closer grade and NFPA 80 self-closing requirements play into that. This 510 ft coil is sized for full-building gasketing runs; a standard 3'0" x 7'0" opening uses about 17 ft.
