The LIFEPAK CR2 is Physio-Control's connected public-access AED. The device self-monitors and reports readiness over your wireless network, so a unit with an expiring battery or electrodes flags itself instead of waiting on a manual check. This is the semi-automatic version (mfr part 99512-001261) with the carry bag.
What sets the CR2 apart
cprINSIGHT analyzes the heart rhythm while compressions continue, reducing hands-off pauses during CPR. The Child Mode button switches to lower-energy pediatric therapy using the same QUIK-STEP electrodes; no separate pediatric pads to stock or fumble for. Escalating energy delivers stronger subsequent shocks when needed, and ClearVoice prompts adjust to background noise.

Ordering an AED
The LIFEPAK CR2 is a prescription medical device under FDA rules, and the purchase process handles that along with the manufacturer's short end-user form: the installation address and a designated program coordinator (the person who receives readiness and expiration notifications). We send you the form right after purchase and the unit ships once it is back. Some states have their own AED registration or medical-direction requirements, so check your state's rules or ask us.
Complete the installation
Pair it with an AED cabinet for visible, protected wall placement; the CR2 device (8.9 x 10.8 x 3.8 in) fits the LifeStart cabinets we carry when stored without its carry bag. Keep replacement QUIK-STEP electrodes on hand.
