ZING RecycLockout Gate Valve Lockout 1 to 2.5 Inch

The ZING Green Safety Products RecycLockout Gate Valve Lockout fits gate valves from 1 to 2.5 inches and stops the handle from being turned while maintenance is in progress. It rotates freely around the hand wheel once secured, so a technician can't force the valve open or closed with the device in place. The housing accepts up to 3 padlocks with shackles up to 3/8" in diameter, which lets multiple crew members lock out the same valve during group work under an OSHA OSHA 29 CFR 1910.147 program. At just under 2 3/4" tall and about 3 1/2" wide, it's built for compact valve stations where bulkier devices won't fit. This lockout is made in the USA from heavy-duty, 100% recycled plastic. The recycled content claim carries UL Environment Claims Validation, not a safety listing, so it backs up sustainability reporting and can support LEED credit documentation without overstating what UL checked.
